Morgan Skillman is the Volunteer Coordinator for the 2017 World Rowing Championships whose primary duties include event staffing, volunteer recruitment, training and accreditation.
Her career started as a volunteer for Liberty University athletics where she worked in Game Operations and the baseball front office. Morgan received her Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in Sport Management from Liberty University as well as serving as the Graduate Assistant for Athletic Event Management for all NCAA DI sports. She continued on to the Adidas-Group, in Herzogenaurach Germany, where she was a product marketer for the UK and the Nordics. Most recently Morgan served as the Senior Olympic Development and Coaching Education Specialist for Florida Youth Soccer Association. Her skills include event and volunteer management, interpersonal communication and program management.
Morgan is a Sacramento, California native with a love of all things sports and music. She is a die-hard SF Giants fan as well as the Sacramento Kings through thick and thin, the TB Lightning and the 49ers. Prior to being a collegiate rower at Liberty University she played soccer and volleyball. Morgan’s passions are people and sports. She is excited to rally this incredible community around a sport that she loves.
