From 2011-2016, the Miami native reported and anchored for Sarasota’s ABC affiliate, WWSB-TV. He also hosted the station’s high school football program, Football Friday Night.
In 2007, Max started his career in broadcasting as a reporter and weekend anchor with WECT, the NBC affiliate in Wilmington, North Carolina.
Over his career, Max has received numerous accolades from the Associated Press and The Radio-Television-Digital-News-Association.
Max graduated from the Ed McMahon School of Communications at Quinnipiac University with a bachelor’s degree in broadcast journalism. When in college, Max interned with Miami television stations, WTVJ-NBC 6 and WPLG-Local 10.
In his spare time, you’ll likely find Max trying to reel in a big bass, dining at some of the Suncoast’s tastiest restaurants, rooting on his favorite Miami sports teams, and spending time with his family in South Florida. He also enjoys volunteer work with the Humane Society of Sarasota County. His wife, Hayley, is an anchor with WWSB.
