Sarasota Native Going for Gold in The Netherlands

SARASOTA-BRADENTON, FLORIDA— For 20-year-old Travis Taaffe, rowing is life. With all of his training this summer, the Sarasota native hasn’t even had a chance to come home to visit his family. He will, however, be making a trip later this month to The Netherlands to represent the USRowing Under 23 national team.

Four Sarasota Crew Juniors Headed to Rotterdam

SARASOTA-BRADENTON, FLORIDA— Last week, USRowing announced the names of the Senior and Under 23 rowers who will represent the United States at the upcoming 2016 World Rowing Senior, Under 23 and Junior Championships in Rotterdam, The Netherlands. Among those rowers are Travis Taaffe and Monica Whitehouse, both with Sarasota Crew.

Now, USRowing has announced its Junior roster, and Sarasota Crew is represented yet again. Four crew members will be headed to The Netherlands.
